O Saint Sebastian, brave in battle and strong in faith, you gave an outstanding example of courage in fighting for your country and your God alike. Through your intercession, help
the men and women in every branch of our armed forces, who, like you, fight for the country they love. Make them strong and brave, ready to give their best in
that cause for which their country fights.
Dear God, You found Saint Sebastian perfect in his testimony of Jesus Christ. Grant that those who wear our country's uniform, strong in battle, may be strong also in the faith for which he died. Please preserve them from the wounds and dangers of battle, bring them safely home, and bless their loved ones. In Jesus' name. Amen.
