Heavenly Father, Your Word directs us to pray for all those in authority, that we may lead quiet and tranquil lives in all devotion and dignity. Thank You for calling men and women to serve as police officers who help keep law and order in our neighborhoods and communities. Please protect them with Your powerful angels and cover them with the love
of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Give them Your Spirit to deal wisely, courageously, and patiently with
the people and situations they
encounter daily.
Please bless and watch over their loved ones, who sacrifice much, and bring every officer home safely at the end of each day's work. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
