Our Father in heaven,

Be exalted this Easter day! Your Son Jesus has risen from the dead, just as it was promised, and His resurrection has given us new life and renewed hope.

You have set us free this Easter day, free to be who we really are, the radiant sons and daughters of our dear heavenly Father. Help us to bring this true freedom to all our brothers and sisters in our great human family.

Lord, grant us wisdom to know what we must do, the will to want to do it, the courage to undertake it, the perseverance to continue to do it, and the strength to complete it.

Dear Father, through the prayers of our Blessed Mother Mary, may Your Kingdom come, may Your Will be done, here on earth, as it is done so joyfully and generously in heaven. May we bring Your mercy to all, and may the brilliant light of Your risen joy overcome all darkness now and forever. Amen.
