Prayer to Saint Monica

Dear Saint Monica, troubled wife and mother, you endured many sorrows difficulties, and humiliations. However, you never despaired or lost faith. With confidence, patience, persistence and profound trust, you prayed daily for the conversion of your husband, Patricius, and your beloved son, who would become the great Saint Augustine. Please intercede for me, dear Saint Monica, (mention your request) that God would intervene on my behalf, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever. Amen.
