It was on this hill of Calvary, just outside Jerusalem, that Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the world, as He was scourged, crowned with thorns, crucified and pierced through the heart for our salvation.

10" Sacred Heart...
This crucifix is so beautiful! I bought it for a missionary friend of mine in Peru who is marrying a man from the village where she lives. Her uncle who was our pastor for four years and is still my friend is going there to marry them. so he will take the gift with him and bless it when they open it. Her finance's grandfather gave them a tree from his property to bulid the furniture for their home. She sent me pictures of several items. The picture of their bed was lacking a crucifix. Her uncle told me they are working on growning their church named for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This crucifix is perfect. This is the first time I have seen resin used. It makes the figure so delicate and meaningful.
