For unto us a child is born; unto us a son is given; and upon his shoulder dominion rests. He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.

Baby Jesus is love incarnate. God the eternal Father is so in love with His Son that He cannot take His eyes off Him, yet He is also so in love with us that He sent His Son to become one of us, born of a Jewish maiden in the little town of Bethlehem 2,000 years ago!

This little child, conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary, came to love us and to set us free from sin so that we could love God and love each other, and come to enjoy eternal life
