Beautiful
Purchased this chalice and paten several years ago. More than happy with this purchase. The chalice is heavy similar to other expensive chalices. The gold plating inside the cup is excellent. The chalice is very well done. It has the traditional node and the design is well done. The only thing that is missing is a cross at the base of the chalice necessary to ensure the priest drinks the Precious Blood from the same area. To solve this problem, I took a common medal in the form of a cross, broke off the hook, and pasted it onto the base of the chalice for orientation. This has worked extremely well. For the money, this is a fitting chalice and paten for Our Lord's Body and Blood. This would make an excellent gift to a priest or a donation in memory of a loved one to the local parish. Buy with confidence.
