The birth of Christ is one of the most celebrated events of the Christian calendar, and the Christ Child in the manger is always at the center of these celebrations. This figurine comes in a two-piece format so that the manger can be placed in view at the start of Advent and the Infant can then be placed inside at Christmas.

Darker Infant Jesus in Manger
This little statue is beautiful - I found it to be quite a bit darker than shown in the photo - was not unhappy with it, though the tone was a little strange. I did change the swaddling from the light purple it was originally to a bright red, and it made a huge difference in the look of the statue. Much happier with it now, and the skin tone does not look gray anymore. The statue's face is very beautiful and baby Jesus sits very securely in the manger. Overall recommend this little statue. Note that my first statue came with his little head broken off- but Autom very quickly shipped out a replacement and told me to dispose of the first one as I wished. Great customer service.
