Lovely gift; expensive...
A lovely gift our group gave to our departing Parochial Vicar. However, the shipping and 'handling' charges are crazy. I'll explain....our original gift was ordered in plenty of time from their catalog, but unknown to us, out of stock. Autom policy is not to notify the customer, but return our check, eventually! Four days before the party to present this gift the original item was still missing. Upon calling I learned all this and was forced to put a different Mass Kit on my personal credit card and pay $84 to have it overnighted before Monday's event. That's 50% of the item's cost! And the box was half the size of a typical shoebox. As I said, the Mass Kit was well received, but beware if ordering from their catalog!!
