Pier Giorgio Frassati was an Italian Catholic known for his deep faith, service to the poor, and love of the outdoors, often combining mountain climbing with prayer and friendship. The phrase "Verso l'alto" is often associated with him. It means "to the heights", which he related to his spirituality: to always search for that which is higher than himself. He died at age 24 in 1925, and his joyful, virtuous life led to his beatification by Pope John Paul II in 1990, who praised him as a model for young people. He was canonized a Saint by Pope Leo XIV on September 7th, 2025. Pray with purpose using this uniquely designed rosary inspired by the life and virtues of Pier Giorgio Frassati.

Rosary Commemorating new Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati
This is a good rosary. It is well made and it is easy to differentiate the Hail Mary and Our Father beads as one prays. The crucifix is attractive and adds to the beauty of the product. The Hail Mary beads are strung a little tight so it is a little difficult to move from one bead to the next, however I expect that to loosen up over time. That is the reason I rated the rosary with 4 instead of 5 stars. Nonetheless, for the price it is definitely worth it and purchasing a multi pack means I will have extras to give out, which to me is a plus.
